Dear Editor,
Health is a universal human right. This should be provided to all populations by governments and under the stewardship of health system. Human resources should be distributed impartially throughout the country after receiving proper academic training. Several factors outside the boundaries of the health system disrupt policy-making and system planning in this regard. This article briefly examines these factors from the perspective of social equity indicators and provides suggestions for future studies.
