	<title>Factors affecting physical activity in female high school students: a study based on the health promotion model using path analysis approach</title>

	<abstract_fa>امروزه يکي از چالش‌‌هاي جدي سلامت همگاني در ميان نسل نوجوان، چاقي و بي‌تحرکي است. ورزش و تحرک مهمترين راه پيشگيري از بروز چاقي و تبعات آن است. هدف مطالعه حاضر، بررسي عوامل موثر بر فعاليت جسماني دانش‌آموزان دختر مبتني بر الگوي ارتقاي سلامت با رويکرد تحليل مسير بود. اين مطالعه ﻣﻘﻄﻌﻲ بر روي 500 نمونه دانش‌آموز دبيرستاني شهر ﻛﺎﺷﺎن كه به روش نمونه‌گيري چند مرحله‌اي از بين مدارس مورد نظر انتخاب شدند، انجام شد. پرسشنامه‌اي که حاوي ﺳﺎزه‌ﻫﺎي الگوي ارﺗﻘـﺎي ﺳﻼﻣﺖ ( ﻣﻮاﻧﻊ درك ﺷﺪه، ﺧﻮدﻛﺎرآﻣﺪي، ﻋﻮاﻃﻒ درك ﺷﺪه، ﺣﻤﺎﻳﺖ اﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻲ، عزت نفس) و فرم فعاليت بدني مخصوص نوجوانان بود همراه با پرسشنامه دموگرافيک ﺑﻴﻦ دﺧﺘﺮان ﺗﻮزﻳﻊ و از ﻃﺮﻳﻖ ﻣﺼﺎﺣﺒﻪ ﺗﻮﺳﻂﻛﺎرﺷﻨﺎﺳﺎن دوره دﻳﺪه ﺟﻤﻊ‌آوري ﺷﺪ. &lt;br&gt;ﺳﭙﺲ، داده‌ﻫﺎ از ﻃﺮﻳﻖ روش آﻣﺎري ﺗﺤﻠﻴﻞ ﻣﺴﻴﺮ ﺑﺎ اﺳﺘﻔﺎده از ﻧﺮم اﻓﺰار LISREL8.8 ﺗﺠﺰﻳﻪ و ﺗﺤﻠﻴﻞ ﺷﺪﻧﺪ.ﻛﻠﻴﻪ ﺳﺎزه‌ﻫﺎي الگوي ارﺗﻘـﺎي ﺳﻼﻣﺖ بجز ﻣﻮاﻧـﻊ درك‌ﺷﺪه ارتباط ﻣﻌﻨﻲ‌دار مثبتي (مستقيم يا غير مستقيم ) ﺑـﺎ رفتار فعاليت جسماني داﺷﺘﻨﺪ. عزت نفس بيشترين ﻣﻴﺰان تبيين‌‌ﻛﻨﻨﺪﮔﻲ را در ارﺗﺒﺎط ﺑﺎ رفتار فعاليت جسماني نشان داد. ﻛﻠﻴﻪ ﺳﺎزه‌ﻫﺎي الگوي ارﺗﻘـﺎي ﺳﻼﻣﺖ، 52 درصد از تغييرات واريانس فعاليت جسماني را ﺗﺒﻴـﻴﻦ ﻛـﺮدند. مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که الگوي ارﺗﻘـﺎي ﺳﻼﻣﺖ ﻛﺎرﺑﺮد ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺒﻲ در ﺗﺒﻴﻴﻦ فعاليت جسماني دانش‌آموزان دﺧﺘﺮ دارد. استفاده از الگوي ارﺗﻘﺎي ﺳﻼﻣﺖ با تمرکز بر روي بهبود عزت نفس و ارتقاي خودکارآمدي در اﻳـﻦ ﺟﻤﻌﻴـﺖ در مداخلات آتي مي تواند نتايج ثمربخشي به همراه داشته باشد.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt;

	<abstract>Objective (s): Childhood obesity and sedentary lifestyle are one of the most serious public health challenges. Physical activity and exercise are an important way to prevent obesity and its consequences. The purpose of this study was to evaluate factors affecting physical activity in female high school students.&lt;br&gt;Methods: The Pender’s health promotion model served as the framework for this cross-sectional study, which included a total of 500 female high school students in Kashan, Iran. The data were collected through interviews. The interviewers were conducted based on health promotion model (self efficacy, perceived affect, perceived barriers, perceived social support, self-esteem). The data were explored using path analysis. &lt;br&gt;Results: All constructs of the health promotion model except perceived barriers were significantly related to the girls’ physical activity. Self-esteem (β=0. 46, p&lt;0/001) had the highest correlation with the girls’ physical activity. All constructs of the health promotion model accounted for 52% of variance for physical activity.&lt;br&gt;Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrated that the health promotion model predicted variance in physical activity among students. Theory-based interventions focusing on self-esteem and self-efficacy should be implemented to improve physical activity among female students.</abstract>
