fa دانش بهداشتی در خصوص ایدز در دختران دانش‌آموز دبیرستانی: یک مطالعه مقطعی توصیفی Descriptive دانش‌آموزان دبيرستان‌هاي دخترانه از آسيب‌پذيرترين گروه‌هاي جمعيتي هستند كه به واسطه سن و رفتارهاي پرخطر بهداشتي در معرض خطر ابتلا به ايدز قرار دارند. اين مطالعه به بررسي وضعيت اقتصادي ـ اجتماعي و سطح دانش بهداشتي در خصوص ايدز در دبيرستان‌هاي دخترانه شهر تهران پرداخته است. <br>مطالعه‌اي مقطعي به منظور بررسي تفاوت سطح دانش و نگرش دانش‌آموزان دختر در خصوص ايدز در دو دبيرستان دولتي (الف) و نمونه دولتي (ب) (با بسترهاي متفاوت اقتصادي - اجتماعي) واقع در يكي از مناطق شهر تهران انجام شد. پس از هماهنگي با مسؤولان دبيرستان و جلب رضايت دانش‌آموزان، پرسشنامه‌اي كوتاه توسط دانش‌آموزان تكميل گرديد.<br>در مجموع، 581 دانش‌آموز در مطالعه شركت نموده (دبيرستان الف=210 نفر، دبيرستان ب=371 نفر) و ميانگين سني آنها 91/0 ± 3/15 سال (دامنه 17-14) بود. نتايج نشان داد دانش‌آموزان از دانش نسبتاً خوبي در مورد ايدز برخوردار بوده و دامنه پاسخ‌هاي صحيح از<br>4/96-4/33 درصد به دست آمد. بيشتر دانش‌آموزان در خصوص عبارت «ايدز يك موضوع بهداشتي و عمومي است و به همين دليل بايستي عموم مردم جامعه نسبت به آن آگاهي داشته باشند»، موافقت داشتند (9/95 درصد). منابع عمده اطلاعات دانش‌آموزان در خصوص ايدز، راديو، تلويزيون، و مطبوعات (2/52 درصد) اظهار شد و بيشترين نيازهاي اطلاعاتي نمونه مورد مطالعه در مورد روش‌هاي پيشگيري از ايدز (37 درصد) اطلاعات عمومي در مورد ايدز <br>(22 درصد) و سپس راه‌هاي انتقال ايدز (17 درصد) عنوان گرديد. به طور كلي، دانش‌آموزان دبيرستان نمونه دولتي درك بهتري در خصوص موضوع مورد مطالعه داشته و تفاوت آماري معناداري در سطح دانش در مورد ايدز در دو دبيرستان به دست آمد (05/0>P).<br>در مجموع يافته‌هاي مطالعه حاضر دال بر آن است كه دانش‌آموزان دبيرستان‌هاي دخترانه از دانشي نسبتاً خوب در مورد ايدز و نيز نگرش مثبتي نسبت به بيماران مبتلا به ايدز برخوردار بودند. از آنجا كه دانش‌آموزان دختر در مقاطع دبيرستان از گروه‌هاي آسيب‌پذير محسوب مي‌شوند، اجراي برنامه‌هاي آموزشي و مداخله‌اي به منظور افزايش درك خطر در خصوص ايدز توصيه مي‌شود.</span> Objective(s): Female high school students are among most vulnerable population groups with regard to AIDS because of their age and their high-risk behaviors. This study aimed to assess AIDS literacy among female high school students from two different socio-economic backgrounds in Tehran, Iran.<br>Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to investigate about AIDS knowledge and attitudes among female students in Tehran, Iran. Two available high schools were identified and after obtaining consent from authorities, a brief questionnaire was administered to all students.<br>Results: In all, 581 students participated in the study. The mean age of the respondents was 15.3 (SD=0.94) years (ranging from 14 to 17y). Data analysis showed that the subjects had a fairly good knowledge of AIDS. The percentage of correct answers ranged from 33.4% to 96.4%. Also, the majority of the respondents strongly agreed or agreed with statements that “AIDS is a public health problem and people should be informed about the disease” (95.9%) or “people with AIDS should receive support from family, community and the government” (89.0%). Most students indicated that the mass media (including television and newspapers) were their main sources of information on HIV and AIDS (52.2%). Thirty-seven percent said that they need more information on AIDS prevention followed by need for more general information about AIDS (22%) and information about AIDS transmission modes (17.0%). Overall, those from affluent backgrounds showed a better understanding of the topic and there were significant differences in knowledge levels between the two high schools.<br>Conclusion: The findings indicate that in general female students have a fairly good knowledge about AIDS and have positive attitudes towards people with AIDS.
