fa آیا پیش بینی روند افزایش میزان سزارین تحقق یافته است؟ توصیفی Descriptive افزایش روزافزون میزان سزارین در ایران بیانگر معضلی پیچیده در نظام سلامت است. هشت سال قبل به منظور نشان دادن مشکل، اقدام به پیش بینی میزان سزارین برای سال‌های بعد گردید. متأسفانه در بازنگری آماری، بعد از این مدت مشاهده شد که روند افزایش با سرعتی بیش از انتظار به جلو می‌رود.<br> این مطالعه مقایسه دو بررسی انجام شده به فاصله 8 سال (فاصله سال‌های 79 تا 87) در یک مرکز درمانی در شهر تهران در خصوص سزارین است که بر اساس آن، میزان کلی سزارین در سال 79، 56.2 درصد و سزارین بار اول، 47 درصد و در سال 87 به ترتیب، 88 و 62 درصد بوده است. بر اساس پیش بینی انجام شده در سال شروع بررسی (79) و با فرض تشابه الگوی حاملگی در هر دو زمان، توقع می‌رفت میزان کلی سزارین در سال پایان بررسی (87) به 68 درصد برسد، حال آن که میزان تحقق یافته در سال مذکور، 88 درصد است.<br> از آنجا که مطمئناً میزان افزایش دارای علل متعددی است، به نظر می‌رسد شناخت واقعی این عوامل در جامعه ما و ارایه به موقع راهکارهای اساسی متناسب با آن بتواند مانع از این رشد فزاینده باشد.<br> &nbsp; <br> Objective(s): Cesarean section rate has been increasing dramatically in the past decades in Iran. The objective of this study was to show the trend during an eight-year period.<br> Methods: The records of cesarean section in a hospital affiliated to Shahed University were compared at two different time periods.<br> Results: Overall the cesarean section rate was 88%. The results showed that the cesarean section rate in nulliparous women was 90% and it would be 85% in her third pregnancy if it occurs.<br> Conclusion: There is a dramatic increase of cesarean section rate comparing to the results of the same study eight years ago. Although arguments for decreasing cesarean births are acknowledged by obstetricians, translating them into practice on a daily basis is tempered by the constraints of time and the burden of medicolegal concerns. It needs a great concern of medical policymakers to resolve it as soon as possible.
